We visit this part of the country quite regularly and often stay at the Frome Flyer. Ellie had left the room very clean and tidy, was very comfortable. On check in no one was avail and so we had to sort ourselves out, however it had …

Not too bad to find, even through torrential rain. Check in easy, very polite lady on desk, here half hour early but let us check in. Rooms clean, comfortable bed. A bit too warm for us but could open windows a couple inches for air which made it more comfortable. Food & drinks: It was raining so hard we decided to stay put & eat in the Beefeater on site....mmmm! First lady server not really interested. The lady who eventually served us was very good. It was over an hour before we got our food, not that busy, not server's fault & she said 4 staff had left in 2 weeks. We weren't going anywhere so it was ok for us, we sat & chatted. Food very average. Beer tasted off, so it was changed for something else. The floors looked like they hadn't been cleaned for a week. Before we left we had a breakfast, hadn't booked it but the lady kindly found us a table. What we ended up with was infact ok, probably better than our dinner....but because it's eat as much as you can , people were taking it all at once rather than going back, so there were no eggs, bacon, mushrooms, hash browns, when it did start to come out....slowly, it all went with 3 people. So I did toast & went back & waited, as I said it tasted ok.

We have stayed here before, and was fine first time! This time our room absolutely stunk of sick, was awful. And so much mould. Not a good stay. Curtains all wet and mouldy. The windows were left open I’m|Guessing to try and hide the smell of the room

Nice and clean, staff really helpful, location in a industrial park but we knew that before we booked. Only issue was some very exited children running up and down the corridors at 11pm while shouting and screaming. Note to there parents it was late. Beefeater really nice for food

We will never stay here again, room was smelly and late night staff on desk RICHARD was extremely rude. Cooked Breakfast was inedible, continental was ok. Breakfast staff TIM was great he was the only saving Grace, worst hotel experience I have ever encountered.

We used this Premier Inn as our base for visiting relatives in nearby Frome. So all we really needed was a comfortable room, parking and a price that didn't break the bank. On this front the hotel delivered just fine. We checked into room 41 using the kiosk, since we arrived late, and picked up a couple of keycards. The room itself was clean and tidy as was our bathroom. Enough towels were provided and perhaps not enough teabags but that's to be expected as you're not paying for luxury. The location of the hotel is nothing to write home about but if you have a car (which is pretty essential) then it's convenient and you have a Budgens/petrol station just across the road if you get peckish. Walkability: The hotel is situated on a light industrial estate next to a busy main road. While in theory you could locate the footpath that would eventually take you into town it would be quite the schlep to get anywhere interesting.

Business trip. Stayed here for over two-weeks. The bad. Some external road noise. Thin walls and creaky floorboards, so internal noise. The good: great staff. Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Hot and powerful shower. Comfortable temperature in November. Decent breakfasts.

After a long day this Premier Inn was in the perfect location for us to recharge for one night. Friendly staff, easy checking. Clean room. With towels & hairdryer. From reception the double doors into beefeater meant we didn't have to go outside leaving our coats & non essentials in our room. Nearby activities: Great location of a 15 min drive from Longleat safari park 👍.

We stayed here for one night as a stopover after our Cornwall holiday. The hotel looks pretty run down from the outside and the rooms were ok. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were given 2 cards for the room, one is a room key and the other card was for the electricity so you could leave it on when you left the room. Of course I mixed up the cards and left the room with the electricity key, the girl at the front desk was only too happy to help and swap them over on the computer. We had buffet breakfast in the morning which was enjoyable. We stayed in room 43, the hallway floors on the way down were very creaky so I'm pleased we were further along as I feel that would have disturbed us. When we had the windows open we could hear the traffic outside but over night we didn't have any disruptions and was an enjoyable sleep. We had a fan in our room as there's no AC and it was a comfortable temperature. My only concern was the dust in the room. When we had the above-bed purple light on you could see dust on the wall and when my young daughter was playing hide and seek with her sister and hid under the bed she came out covered in dust which made me feel quite ill!
