Sally and Steve provide super accommodation in a beautifully relaxed location close to Frome Longleat and central for many lovely places. The lodges superbly equipped. Comfy settees, a great kitchen. Ideal for all ages. This is our second visit and will be coming back.

We have stayed at By The Byre three times now in one of the lodges. We've had a great time and love staying here. The location is really close to Longleat so perfect for us as a family. We love that there is flexibility to book for a few nights, even in the middle of the summer season. The lodges are clean and have everything we have needed, this summer we enjoyed sitting out on the decking every night for dinner.

We stayed here for two weeks - and we loved it! Our Lodge was perfectly kitted out, super private and had lovely views. Steve and Sally were great, nothing was too much trouble.
Location is close to Frome, a great farm shop and a range of other attractions. Would definitely recommend staying here!

The lodge we stayed in was excellent. It sleeps 6 - one double and 4 single beds in 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen has everything you need for a good self catering break - microwave, dishwasher, fridge, cutlery and cooking utensils all provided. A washing machine is also available, should you need one. There's also a TV, Bluetooth speaker and Wi-Fi available (as well as a DVD player discreetly hidden under the TV) - good for distracting kids after a day out.
We did have a sight issue with the WiFi, but after quick call and the router was quickly rebooted.
Sally was very helpful and made suggestions for maximising a visit to Longleat.
Really nice touch was the bread, butter and milk provided (would recommend bringing your own jam and sandwich fillings).
Great place to stay if you want to visit Longleat or Bath. Frome is close by and a nice place to visit too.

We stayed in one of the eco-lodges onsite and it was awesome. Warm, spacious and extremely well equipped, set on a beautiful site in rural surroundings with wonderful views out if any window. Even my daughter would approve and she has high standards.

Lovely place... spotlessly clean, by profession I am a cleaning supervisor so I've had a good root around..
Well equipped and the welcome pack of bacon, eggs, bread, tea, coffee and milk is a great touch...
Beds, pillows and duvets all good quality, with mattress protectors on all beds..
Gorgeous surroundings.. lovely and quiet...
No light pollution so on a clear night there's a great view of the stars.
In short, perfect.
